After hearing about the poor cat’s situation, Ahsen made a trip to the veterinary clinic where the cat was receiving care. Despite the cat’s frail state and the gloomy setting, she showed a remarkable spirit. When she saw Ahsen, she eagerly reached out through her enclosure, showing a strong connection. Unable to resist the bond they shared, Ahsen decided to bring the cat home then and there, offering her a loving home to heal and thrive.
She decided to call the little kitten Zobi and made a promise to nurse her back to health. Zobi was dealing with various infections, including Calicivirus, which had caused damage around her mouth, giving her a unique smile. Ahsen took on the task of cleaning Zobi’s mouth and treating her infections at home. With dedicated care from Ahsen, Zobi’s health gradually improved over time. Zobi was finally able to eat without pain and started drinking from a water fountain, showing signs of comfort and recovery.
Zobi’s true personality started to emerge as she settled into her new life. She thrived under the care of her foster mother and grew to enjoy the attention. With time, Zobi gained weight and had two lower teeth extracted to help her eat better. This not only relieved her pain but also made eating easier for her.
As Zobi’s health got better, Ahsen’s spirits also lifted. It was evident that Zobi was not just surviving but thriving, leading Ahsen to decide to make her a permanent part of the family. After almost two months of treatment and recovery, Zobi met her new feline siblings. She was warmly welcomed by the other cats, especially forming a close bond with Zikri, a Tuxedo cat. They connected instantly, playing happily together as if they had known each other forever.
Today, Zobi brings joy wherever she goes, her crooked smile a reflection of her resilient and joyful spirit. She lives life to the fullest, a reminder to everyone of the strength of resilience and the positive impact of getting a second chance.
