Witness the transformative power of a new opportunity! A young blind kitten, rescued from a precarious situation up in a tree, expresses his boundless joy and gratitude to his compassionate saviors on a daily basis.
“I received a call from a friend who spotted a sick kitten stuck in a tree at a Walmart parking lot,” Nikki from @myfosterkittens shared with Love Meow. The poor stray was in bad shape, with infected eyelids that were sealed shut.
While at work, Nikki guided the person to safely rescue the kitten from the tree. Later, she went to pick him up and was immediately struck by his sweet personality. The little guy, named Wally after the Walmart parking lot where he was found, seemed to express gratitude through his cries.
Once home, Wally purred with contentment as Nikki cared for him. A visit to the vet led to surgery to treat his severe eye infection caused by micro ophthalmia. Despite enduring multiple procedures, Wally remained cheerful and affectionate.
Wally’s resilience and joy are an inspiration, as he eagerly plays and seeks love despite his disabilities. Nikki marvels at his ability to navigate the world using his other senses, proving that being blind doesn’t hinder his happiness.
Exciting news awaits Wally as he is set to travel from Las Vegas to his forever home in Charlotte, NC soon. His infectious happiness and wagging tail have charmed everyone he meets, showing that being blind is not a limitation for this remarkable kitty.
